Abstract

Dinamika negosiasi identitas Generasi Z (lahir  1997 -2012) lifestyle pada For You Page (FYP) TikTok menjadi fokus utama kajan ini. Analisis dilakukan melalui pendekatan systematic literature  review terhadap 18 artikel jurnal ilmiah yang di publikasikan selama periode 2019-2024. Dengan bertumpu pada teori identitas Sturt Hall serta teori presentasi diri Goffman, algoritma FYP dipahami sebagai mekanisme soisteknologis yang tidak hanya memantulkan presepsi diri pengguna, tetapi juga turut membentuk ulang cara mereka memhami identitasnya. Kajian ini menmukan tiga kecenderungan utama. Pertama, mimikri aspirasional memperlihatkan praktik mahasiswa dalam mereplikasi gaya hidup infulencer guna menampilkan identitas yang mereka kehendaki. Kedua, penambatan komunitas menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan subkultur niche di TikTok menghadirkan rasa ketrtarikan sekaligus identitas kolektif bagi penggunannya. Ketiga, ambivalensi performative menggambarkan kesadaran pengguna dalam pengguna dalam mengatur dan mengkurasi konten untuk menyesuaikan diri  dengan ekspetasi audiens yang beragam dan terkadang saling bertentangan. Kontribusi penelitian ini terletak pada penguatan literatur komunikasi digital melalui penegasan bahwa arsitektur algoritmik TikTok tidak bekerja sebagai medium yang netral, melainkan sebagai actor aktif dalam proses kontruksi identitas. Pembahasan juga mencakup implikaksi terhadap Pendidikan literasi media serta peluang pengembangan penelitian empiris berikutnya.
