Isu Pelayanan Pastoral dalam Konteks Budaya dan Sosial

Perubahan sosial dan dinamika budaya di era modern telah membawa dampak besar terhadap praktik keagamaan, khususnya pelayanan pastoral. Urbanisasi, globalisasi, dan kemajuan teknologi digital menciptakan pola interaksi sosial baru yang menuntut gereja dan pelayan pastoral untuk menyesuaikan pendekatannya secara kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi isu-isu utama yang dihadapi pelayanan pastoral dalam konteks budaya dan sosial, serta menganalisis respons gereja terhadap tantangan-tantangan tersebut. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif berbasis telaah pustaka, ditemukan lima isu pokok yang menandai pelayanan pastoral masa kini: keragaman budaya dan agama, perubahan struktur sosial, kesetaraan gender, kemiskinan dan ketidakadilan sosial, serta dampak teknologi digital terhadap kehidupan spiritual. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa gereja perlu mengembangkan model pelayanan pastoral yang kontekstual, inkulturatif, interkultural, dan transformatif, dengan menekankan peran kepemimpinan pastoral yang adaptif dan profetik. Gereja dipanggil bukan hanya hadir secara spiritual, tetapi juga bertindak sebagai agen transformasi sosial yang memperjuangkan keadilan dan solidaritas di tengah masyarakat plural.
