Pendekatan Terapi Psikologis untuk Mengurangi Stres dan Kecemasan Pada Anak Binaan LPKA I Medan

Stres dan kecemasan merupakan permasalahan psikologis yang umum dialami anak binaan di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA), termasuk LPKA Kelas I Medan. Kondisi lingkungan yang terbatas, pemisahan dari keluarga, serta tekanan sosial dan hukum berkontribusi terhadap meningkatnya gangguan emosional pada anak binaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan terapi psikologis, terutama Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) dan supportive therapy, dalam menurunkan tingkat stres dan kecemasan pada anak binaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest terhadap 10 orang anak binaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan signifikan pada tingkat stres dan kecemasan setelah diberikan intervensi terapi psikologis selama empat minggu. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan terapi psikologis terstruktur di lingkungan pembinaan anak sebagai bagian dari strategi rehabilitasi emosional dan sosial.
